Netlab (networking laboratory) at Caltech, was founded by Professor Steven H Low in 2000, as part of the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering departments.
Netlab pursues "an integrated approach where theory, algorithm, implementation, experimentation, and infrastructure influence and inform each other intimately.
Research has focused on the control and optimization of communications networks and protocols."
This has led to various publications
Future research may also involve novel approaches to improving energy efficiency of communications networks.
Both labs are located
in Pasadena, Los Angeles
county, California, USA.
